60 Second Low Back Pain
Low back pain can be due to muscle strain, accidental twisting of the spine, improper lifting of a heavy object, sitting too long in chairs with inadequate support, sleeping in a poor quality bed, and repetitive stress.
Get a good bed if yours isn’t wonderful, use a supportive chair for sitting, learn to lift correctly, shift your weight if you are standing a long time, wear proper shoes, and use arch supports if your feet drop their arch (we can check this).
Recent studies show that spinal manipulation is more effective for relieving back pain than medication, acupuncture, or physical therapy, and the results last longer. The American College of Physicians guidelines recommends these types of treatment. Utilizing these methods in unison can bring the swiftest pain relief possible and encourage the body to rapidly heal itself.
