Can Acupuncture Help Me?

We all know someone who has experienced healing and renewed health from acupuncture treatments. Dr. Yu-Hua Hsieh (pronounced “Shay”) is an Acupuncturist and Herbalist and a member of our wellness team, and many of you have been successfully treated by her.

Can Acupuncture help me?

Through traditional forms of acupuncture, cupping, herbs and more, she not only helps relieve pain but strengthens one’s health. For those who don’t like needles, she can use a “needle-less” acupuncture technique.

Her expertise includes acupuncture for pain relief including headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, foot pain, heel pain, trigeminal neuralgia, and Bell’s palsy. She treats insomnia, anxiety, psychological problems, colds, sinusitis, weight loss, and post-chemotherapy problems. She also treats infertility.

For those who desire to look younger, she offers facial rejuvenation. Facial rejuvenation is cosmetic acupuncture (an ancient beauty secret) to minimize fine lines and wrinkles. Treatment results in increased collagen production. Facial rejuvenation nourishes, oxygenates, and moisturizes from the inside out resulting in healthy, glowing skin.

Dr. Hsieh is originally from Taipei, Taiwan, where she earned her doctorate in Microbiology and Immunology. She relocated to the United States to further engage in her research career.

She suffered a shoulder injury that was so successfully treated with acupuncture that it caused her to change her career path. She then earned her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Alhambra Medical University.

Dr. Hsieh combines science and nutrition with acupuncture and Chinese medicine to give patients an optimal healing advantage.

We are currently offering a special on your first Acupuncture appointment. The regular price is $129, but now through March 1, pay only $89! Dr. Hsieh is available for appointments at the Thorburn Chiropractic & Wellness Center office on Mondays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Call today!
