Do You Want to Live a Long Life?
If you are like me, you want to live a long and healthy life. You want as much good, clear information you can get on how to stay healthy. But why do some populations live well into their 90s and 100s virtually free of chronic diseases while the United States and other western nations are sicker than ever?
A new investigation into the lives of these amazing, long-living people has been conducted, leading to a nine-part docu-series, The Human Longevity Project, which will air free online from May 8 – 17. Each episode will air for 24 hours beginning at 5:00 ET on Tuesday, May 8. A preview and free registration can be found here: https://humanlongevityfilm.com/.
A Long Life
Episodes 1 and 2 will demonstrate the important connection between our mitochondria and our microbiome, and highlight how imbalances in these areas contribute to chronic disease and early aging.
Episodes 3 through 7 will explore the lifestyle factors that have the most significant impact on our overall health and ability to live healthy, happy, disease-free lives well into advanced age. Topics include food and diet, movement, environmental toxicity, connection to nature, light and circadian rhythms, sleep habits, pregnancy and childbirth, childhood trauma, community, purpose, and spirituality.
Episode 8 will take a look at the epidemic of chronic diseases of degeneration such as cancer, and neurological diseases such as Alzheimer’s.
And Episode 9 will take a look at the future of medicine: where we go from here, plus some modern ways to help you maximize your health.
I know I’ll be viewing this important series myself. As a patient of mine or someone who has expressed interest in good health, I hope you will consider watching it and sharing it with your friends and loved ones.
As always, I wish you good health!
