Join me in Welcoming Jennifer Lavoro L.Ac.

Please join me in welcoming the newest addition to our wellness team, Jennifer Lavoro, L.Ac.

Jennifer Lavoro L.Ac. is a California Board Certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist (one who uses natural herbs to resolve health problems). She utilizes traditional forms of acupuncture and individualized herbal formulas. She also uses cupping (the placing of “cups” that encourage blood flow to an area to remove toxins), tuina, (Chinese massage) and nutritional counseling to help you get and stay well.

Her expertise includes acupuncture for pain management, stress and fatigue, digestive issues, migraines, skin disorders, and other common health issues. In addition, she employs acupuncture to benefit patients’ overall well-being, balance, boost energy and promote immunity in the body. She helps women’s issues such as hormonal balance, PMS, and infertility.

Jennifer is a Californian and Angeleno by way of Florida. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida in Gainesville where she majored in Art. She is a painter and photographer.

She has always had a passion for living a holistic lifestyle and strongly believes in natural alternative medicine. “There is a considerable amount of creative expression that takes place while healing patients through Oriental Medicine, and it allows me to be constantly inspired doing what I love,” says Jennifer.

Jennifer earned her Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine from Dongguk University Los Angeles. She was valedictorian of her graduating class.
